Leaders Cheltenham Town moved seven points clear at the top of the National League, thanks to a “massive” Worcestershire-Gloucestershire derby victory acording to their manager Gary Johnson. Despite their dominance, they were made to work hard for the three points against basement battlers Kidderminster which edged them well clear of Forest Green. Former Harriers striker Danny Wright’s header opened the scoring
within the half hour and despite Kyle Howkins bringing the hosts back on level terms, Aaron Downes’ powerful header for the leaders proved to be the winning goal halfway through the second period.
