1 KILIMANJARO, TANZANIA
If you make it to Kibo, the summit of the 5895m Kilimanjaro, you’ll be standing at Africa’s highest point. The massif consists of three principle extinct volcanoes: Kibo (centre), Mawensi (east) and Shira (west). Although a popular trek, Kilimanjaro is not to be underestimated: statistics show that less than half of climbers reach the summit. Take your time.
