INTERVIEW JAMES CORDEN
When James Corden made his debut as host of The Late Late Show in March 2015, the British star admitted that he was worried about how he’d go down with American audiences. ‘I don’t know if I’m making a huge mistake,’ he told reporters at the time. ‘It’s the biggest gamble of my life.’ Two years on, it’s safe to say the gamble has paid off handsomely. Since taking over the late-night slot on the CBS network, James has provided viewers with some iconic moments, from acting out Tom Hanks’ best-known films alongside the Hollywood star to his hugely popular Carpool Karaoke segment, which sees him driving and singing with the likes of Madonna, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber.
