The month of December is my most treasured time of the year, primarily because of the warm glow and welcoming feeling that an invitation extends towards the guests of your dinner party, get-together or pot-luck in the midst of a cool midwinter. What better way to silence the questioning remarks of your nearest and dearest than with tables a-plenty bursting with delicious vegan, plant-based foods? Festive dining is a tried and tested aff air. And while I’m not for reinventing the wheel here (trust me, nothing comes between me and my roasted parsnips), I do rather enjoy doing something a little, er, different, when it comes to shaking up the traditional nature of your regular Tofurkey-centred dining schedule. Before you cancel your Holland & Barrett Christmas order and throw out your vegan cookbook in a fit of rebellious angst, I have no plans for you to change your muchloved roast dinner this year. You do you. I, on the other hand, want us to do brunch.
