Please don’t kill my baby
I started painting when I was 15-yearsold, and I had my first solo show at the age of 18. I always knew I would be an artist — my grandmother was a painter, and I admired her art so much. After graduating from art school, I tried different work here and there, but nothing was really right for me. When I was 22, I decided to paint full-time and make a living out of my art.
Having been vegetarian for more than 30 years, it was only about 10 years ago that I decided to become vegan. One day, I saw a post on Facebook saying that there was more suffering in a glass of milk than in a steak. I was shocked! I decided to do some research on the subject and discovered that, yes, it was true. The same day, my husband and I stopped consuming dairy products. A few weeks later, we watched Earthlings, we became completely vegan, and have been ever since.
