ODDBALLS AND TESTS

Frank Robinson’s innovative career spanned some of the game’s biggest changes, including league expansion, divisional play, the emergence of the designated hitter, and a growing diversity on the field. While his base cards cover the 1950s’ golden age of collecting to the radical ‘60s and daring designs of the mid-‘70s, he also appeared in some of the hobby’s most ambitious test issues and oddball products ever produced.
