ANOTHER WAGNER COMING TO MILE HIGH CARD COMPANY AUCTION

A T206 Honus Wagner is the centerpiece of Mile High Card Company Auctions’ August 2020 event. The Wagner, graded a PSA 1, features a Sweet Caporal back. This is the second time in less than a year that MHCC is off ering the scarce Wagner. A T206 Wagner graded a PSA 2 sold last October in a Mile High auction for an eye-popping $1,326,000 – nearly doubling the previous high paid for a T206 Wagner from more than four years ago.

“It was such a privilege to present a T206 Wagner as the headliner of ‘The Event’ auction last October,” said MHCC CEO and President Brian Drent, “The world-record result achieved for the sale of that card was an important factor in securing this Wagner for the August Auction.”

The PSA 1 card off ered displays plenty of mileage as you might expect, but without the unsightly areas of missing paper on the front surface that affl ict most specimens of this grade level.
