THE BABE IS STILL MONEY

Agame-used Babe Ruth jersey from the late 1920s sold for a world record price of $5.64 million in June, shattering the previous mark for a piece of sports memorabilia by more than $1 million. The record sale included buyer’s premium. The jersey sold as part of Hunt Auction’s Live Auctions’ of Babe Ruth Collection memorabilia and personal items June 15 at Yankee Stadium.
