A FINAL WITH A BANG!
On the Final starting grid there’s the tense atmosphere of the decisive battle. A torrid heat worthy of Sergio Leone’s spaghetti westerns, an almost noisy silence and penetrating glances slow time down, stopping it, until the red traffic lights go out. From there it’s all a matter of instants. At the start, Irlando pulls ahead, taking advantage of a slight uncertainty of Puhakka, but a few positions back, Abbasse and Viganò take each other out. Both retire, and the championship loses two potential champions.
