Although we’re still wrapping up against the chill, the promise of spring is finally in the air and here at Wedding Flowers HQ, we couldn’t be happier! The new season is reflected in our glorious Flower Lookbook shoot, where coordinator Charlotte and I were delighted to see the re-emergence of vibrant brights with dreamy pastels and an abundance of foliage (trust me, it is going to be everywhere). Speaking of trends to look out for, we asked a few of our favourite florists to dust off their crystal balls and reveal what they think will be in vogue for 2017 – turn to page 20 to be in the know. From floral chandeliers to oversized bouquets, ensure you’re ahead of the curve with our handy guide. We’ve also put together a calender (page 24) to help you with your wedding planning process. And if you fancy being your very own wedding florist, our feature on page 28 will help you to get started, as well as including a fun step-by-step project! I probably say this every issue, but I really, really love the real life weddings we have this time. From refreshing blue hues to dreamy pinks, pastel purples, deep reds and plenty of chic white blooms, I am always so impressed with the creativity of our brides, and of course, the florists who help to bring their visions to life. This is just one of the reasons why we are launching our first ever Wedding Flowers Florist of the Year awards – so next time you’re going to meet with your floral designer, tell them to head to weddingflowersawards.com and to get entering! Hope you enjoy the issue and happy planning,
