Wedding Flowers Magazine Sep/Oct 15 Back Issue

One of my favourite things about working on this magazine is looking at all of the beautiful flowers; whether it’s admiring a bride’s bouquet in one of our real life weddings or looking through all of the latest trends, I just love being surrounded by florals. As we head into late summer and early autumn, we’ve noticed that sunset-inspired coloured palettes are becoming more and more popular. Our receptions edit (page 70) has some fabulous ideas for statement pieces and is bound to be a source of inspiration for all brides-to-be. For more fresh ideas and gorgeous photos, our Moodboards (page 12) are bursting with beautiful concepts and floral ideas galore. If you’re feeling crafty this month, why not check out our romantic makes (p74)? They are bound to make a real impact at your wedding! We’ve also put together a list of the best flower-filled films. From Atonement to Breaking Dawn, you too can achieve a Hollywood-worthy wedding with our helpful hints (page 24). Plus, we’ve spoken to one of our favourite florists who has spilled the beans on all the questions you should be asking (page 26). Similarly, we’ve tracked down the latest up-and-coming florists who you’ll be desperate to book an appointment with (page 28) and we’ve discovered all of the hottest trends to see you through the rest of 2015 and early 2016 – phew! (page 30). Inspired by Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan’s glamourous nuptials (page 22), our Flower Lookbook section (page 78) gives you plenty of food for thought. Finally, don’t forget to check out our competitions and offers, including the chance to win a weddding cake worth more than £1,000. Enjoy the issue!
