{STYLE} Q&A: VIKTOR&ROLF, FASHION ARTISTS

Behind the scenes with the designers, stylists, artists, craftsmen, trendsetters and entrepreneurs who are at the forefront of fashion. This is your insight into the world of style from the people in the know

As self-confessed outsiders of the fashion world, since forming their artistic partnership in 1992, fashion artists Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have gained critical acclaim for their rebellious approach to design, technical virtuosity and deep knowledge of fashion history. Now, with the help of Thierry-Maxime Loriot, a former model and curator of the succsesful Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition, they will be bringing their unique brand of style to Melbourne’s National Gallery of Victoria. The exhibition, which runs from October to the end of February 2017, is a world first and is set to explore Viktor&Rolf’s notion of ‘wearable art’.

About Winq

The new October/November issue of Winq is stuffed with gay goodness. We’ve got an exclusive interview and cover with disco-pop queen Sophie Ellis-Bextor and a second cover featuring Ricky Martin. Sophie Ellis-Bextor is back and better than ever on new album Familia, while Puerto-Rican heartthrob Ricky Martin reminds us why he’s still the king of Latin pop (and as smouldering as ever). Elsewhere we meet the UK’s only out jockey, chat with actor Mark Gatiss, celebrate 50 years of Coming Out with author Jeffrey Weeks, and get to grips with Anohni’s politically-charged new album. Plus a bumper wedding section and Karl Lagerfeld in our business section. The wait is over - Winq is the luxury lifestyle magazine for gay men.
