Peninsula Hotels is the oldest hotel chain in the world, providing luxury stays to guests for 150 years – a milestone perfectly timed with the completion of the Peninsula Beijing’s grand refurbishment. Many of the walls of the hotel’s previous 525 rooms have been removed to create just 230 rooms, including 61 suites, making them the largest hotel rooms in China. The new entry-level superior rooms measure a generous 60sq m, with separate bedroom, living room, bathroom and cloakroom.
