Beneath her regal air and gracious smile, the Duchess of Cambridge is made of steely stuff. and it seems she’s putting this backbone to good use, as she’s said to be reading husband William the riot act after his recent ill-judged and some consider unroyal behaviour. After being dubbed ‘throne idle’ for passing up the Queen’s Commonwealth Day service for a boys-only skiing trip in Verbier last month, the prince is believed to be in hot water with his wife, who is said to be concerned the incident may have tarnished their clean-cut image.
