The Man She’d Met

Cartoon, © Tony Simpson

Joan El Faghloumi lives in a small seaside town in Sussex and has been writing for as long as she can remember, preferring dark and dystopian themes. She is currently reworking her lengthy novel, based on cultural misunderstandings, with a view to publication. Secretary of a local writing group now running for fourteen years, she’s also a member of a twenty-strong online writers’ forum. Joan has been shortlisted and published online, and shortlisted in a previous WM competition.
