Writers’ Day 2017

Following on from the success of the sold-out Writers’ Day 2016, The Literary Consultancy will be re-programming this event, with special industry guests, for writers wanting to know more about how to prepare their work for submission, and how best to navigate the changing literary landscapes of writing, editing and publishing. A limited number of editing feedback one-on-ones will be available on the day.

All Writers’ Day 2017 ticket-holders will be eligible to enter their unpublished writing into the TLC Pen Factor Writing Competition. Previous winners and shortlisted writers have gone on to be shortlisted for the Costa Prize (Guinevere Glasfurd, The Words In My Hand), longlisted for the OCM Bocas (Fawzia Kane, Tantie Diablesse) and selected as WH Smith Fresh Pick (Piers Alexander, The Bitter Trade).
