Londnr magazine has teamed up with Spread the Word writer development agency for the Londnr New Voices Competition to find new voices to join its staff writers.
Now in its second year as a digital magazine focused on London arts, lifestyle and culture, Londnr will be launching a print edition for autumn/winter 2017. The competition is for non-fiction articles or essays. The winner will have a fully paid, full-length feature article published in the first print edition of Londnr, and a contract for a set of three paid articles for the online edition, mentoring with editors, a free year’s membership of Spread the Word’s London Writers Network and tickets to Londnr events. Two runners up will each win a contract for three paid online issues, mentoring, tickets and membership.
To enter, writers must be resident in London or have easy access to London. Send a 1,000-word non-fiction article or essay, and a pitch up to 300 words for an article you’d like to write for Londnr. The documents should be attached as Word docs, Mac Pages or pdf files.
