Like most writers, there is a corner of my hard drive filled with the corpses of manuscripts – half-baked ideas and half-finished novels. This graveyard is common to most writers.I had been in a writing group for a while, but had brought almost nothing to workshop. Only a select few friends knew that I was trying to write a novel.
