The Bath Children’s Novel Award is open for entries to the 2017 competition.
The prize, which awards £2,000 to the winner, is for unsigned authors of middle grade or YA fiction. There is a runner-up prize of £500 in Cornerstones vouchers. This year’s judge is Sallyanne Sweeney of Mulcahy Associates Literary Agency.
To enter, writers should never have been traditionally published (in this context, this is defined as a publishing deal for a novel that includes an advance payment). Self-published writers are eligible to enter.
