Make sure you’re feeling fruity with our citrus slice cushions

Photos Lizzie Orme

These oversize fruit cushions are perfect for adding a touch of fun to your décor – whether you’re spicing up your living room or lounging outside in the sun.

1 Begin by drawing out the main body of the cushion. Draw a straight 55cm line along one edge of your coloured cotton, then measure and mark the centre of the line. Tie one end of a length of twine or string around your pencil and, holding the opposite end of the string at the middle point of the line, hold the string taut and use the pencil to draw a semi-circular curve from one end of the line to another – almost as if it were a pair of compasses. Repeat to cut two ‘wedge’ shapes per cushion, then press.
