Autumn is a magical time of year full of rich colours, romance and fun
so it was an absolute pleasure to make sure this issue features all three
elements in abundance.

For delicious russet autumn celebration cakes, you can choose from
our cover star Zoe Smith, Natalie Porter’s incredible Autumn Dessert
Table which we had great fun photographing with prop stylist Bronwyn
Britt, or Tara Hughes’ Woodland Wedding with adorable forest creatures
on page 19.

For romance; time-travel by reading Christine Flinn’s introduction to
royal icing forebear Ernest Schulbe, ready to practice her icing nail technique on page 42 and Ceri Gri ths latest royal icing instalment. Embrace the mystique of the Orient in style with incredible tutorials from Karen Keaney and Rhianydd Webb, again, the careful choice of colours are wonderfully rich and tell a story.

For Halloween fun, try carving pumpkins ala Amy Swann on page 10, make Tracey Rothwell Zombies with faux blood (a must make for Walking Dead fans) or super cute cupcakes from Carol Deacon that actually glow in the dark – thank goodness for Rolkem Lumo products this season,
endless fun will be had with those and we have three full sets to give away!
