WASPI women want action on pension age

WOMEN Against State Pension Inequality (WASPI) is a campaign group supporting the equalisation of the state pension age.

It actively seeks to achieve fair transitional arrangements for women who expected to retire at 60, but who now have to wait for the pension for which they paid national insurance contributions.

There are more than 140 groups nationwide, and the WASPI Facebook page has at least 65,000 ‘likes’.
