Kintyre Ayrshire Breeders Club

WHEN the Kintyre and District Ayrshire Breeders’ Club members held their AGM, a good turnout of members and friends were present.

All office-bearers remain in post, so no elections were necessary. Chairman Malcolm Ronald introduced guest speaker for the evening, Gilmour Lawrie, who firstly presented the Hamish Smith Premier Breeders’ trophy for most points accumulated over the year’s club competitions to Messrs J and M Barr, Clochkeil, following which he gave an illustrated talk on his farming enterprises at Sandy- ford and Myremill. All present agreed the talk was very interesting, informative and entertaining.
