Penny pinching council targets Islay toilets

Sir, I am deeply concerned and angered by the proposed public toilet closures across Islay.

Clearly this idea has not been thought through as this would have a huge detrimental effect on Islay, residents and the tourist industry.

Argyll and Bute Council should be doing all that it can to encourage visitors and having well-maintained, available public toilets are a large part of that.
