Stockjudging crown lifted by Gavin Semple

A TOTAL of 275 points during the Kintyre Holstein Breeders’ annual Stockjudging competition was enough to secure the trophy, first presented in 1982, for Gavin Semple of Kilkeddan farm.

The recent competition at Kilmaho Farm, by kind permission of James and Linda McLean, attracted 105 to compete for the trophy. It was first won by the late James McLean of Kilmaho.

Judge for the competition was Willie McLean of Lephinstath who was brought up at Kilmaho Farm.
