Police officer slams TV story of station closure

Addressing Campbeltown Community Council on Tuesday night, Chief Inspector Marlene Baillie clarified a number of Kintyre police stations are currently under review but not necessarily under threat of closure, as reported.

Reports of 58 police buildings being under threat across Scotland surfaced last week and among those listed, five were in Argyll, including Campbeltown.
