Kintyre teenager terrorised woman

A NIGHTCLUB meeting with a Kintyre teenager was the start of a series of terrifying phone calls for an Oban woman.

At a sentencing hearing, last Thursday, Campbeltown Sheriff Court heard that Steffan David Cox, aged 18 at the time, had met the woman on April 10 last year.

Outside the club the pair exchanged phone numbers before Cox walked her home.

Cox, of Kilmaree Cottage, Glenranskill, Campbeltown, had pled guilty last month to two charges of making threatening phone calls.
