Grandmother scoots 500 miles in aid of mental health charity


A SCOOTING grandmother has completed a 500-mile Highland journey…on a child’s machine more suited to a trip to the shops.

On April 25, Dinah Bosomworth, 53, left Vatersay on the human- powered vehicle she calls Nerys, writes Sara Bain.

Dinah began the gruelling challenge to raise funds for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH).
