Campbeltown coach’s dedication recognised

ONE of Campbeltown’s most committed football leaders has had his devotion recognised, having been nominated for a grassroots award run by the Scottish Football Association.

David Paterson, as secretary of Campbeltown and District Community Football Club, has helped the beautiful game thrive in Kintyre. He has been nominated in the McDonald’s-and-Sunday-Mail-sponsored Grassroots Awards.

Paterson featured in the Sunday Mail last weekend as the national paper begins its 13th annual search for unsung football heroes in Scotland.
