Seasports crews master dinghies

SAILING courses unfurled by Kintyre Seasports project’s Sid Gallagher have proved a summer hit.

Last week six youngsters were booked for the morning sessions and eight turned up followed by five adults, in the afternoon, aged from 22 to more than 65.

Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Scottish instructor of the year 2016, Alastair Mackay from Aberdeen, led a young team of assistants including Ellie Lowrie and Shona Bassett from Kintyre and Kizzy Catterwell from Craignish.
