CAMPBELTOWN’S new community interest company is open to everyone who wants to use it – not only businesses.
Keeping It Local CIC (KIL), founded by Jason McCallum, opened in Burnbank Place this week, and offers six trading spaces which can be rented on a daily or weekly basis but also has a number of work stations which can be rented by the hour, half day or day, with free coffee, wifiand USB charging included in the fees.
At a well-attended open day last Friday, Mr McCallum said: ‘Everyone is welcome here. Visitors and tourists, for example, can pop in and use the wifi, charge their laptops, whatever they want. It is not just for businesses.’
