Ten-month delay for NHS referral not acceptable

It is good to see the Courier allowed William Crossan nearly a page of comment in reply to my recent, short, letter regarding my wife’s poor experience with the NHS.

It is also good to know that eventually Mr Crossan was dealt with by the NHS to a satisfactory conclusion, although it took what appears to have been an inexcusably long period to rectify.

People working within the NHS are, in the most part, dedicated and apply good practice to all patients under their care.
