Hygiene fears for dredging work in harbour

HARBOUR dredging work at the end of the pier has sparked fears that fish landings in Campbeltown could be contaminated.

Silt is being dredged using a crane and bucket before being dumped on the end of the pier to let the water drain away. It is then transported inland by lorry.
