A FORMER communications director who shouted homophobic abuse was found guilty after a trial at Campbeltown Sheriff Court.
Andrew Wilkin, 61, of 31c Albyn Avenue, Campbeltown, pleaded not guilty to a charge of shouting, swearing and making homophobic remarks, from his balcony, at two girls in their 20s outside a flat opposite his own.
Earlier, one of the women, appearing as a witness, told the court that Wilkin had called her and a friend a ‘pair of fat lesbians’.
