LEADING ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac) has received a top accolade at a prestigious awards ceremony.
CalMac recently won the Ferry Operator of the Year category at the National Transport Awards (NTA) in London. Likened to the Oscars of the UK transport industry, the NTA awards recognise achievements and innovations across all modes of transport.
CalMac received the award for developments across the network as it aimed to retain the Clyde and Hebrides Ferry Services contract, which it has since won.
