Dunbar tup sells for £100k at Dalmally

AT UNITED Auctions’ annual sale of blackface shearlings, aged rams and ram lambs – commonly know as the tup sale – at Dalmally Mart on Saturday October 15, a top price of £100,000 went to Elsmcleugh, Dunbar, for their ram lamb.

A total of 525 shear-lings were sold at an average of £791.66 and a total of 168 ram lambs were sold at an average of £2,033.51.
