Reuse project saves sad sofas

A PAIR of recycling charities is putting the stuffing back into old furniture.

Kintyre Recycling Ltd (KRL) and Zero Waste Heroes (ZWH) have launched a pilot reuse furniture project.

A spokesperson for the two organisations said: ‘We plan to divert household items from landfill, by transforming and upcycling quality donated items, whilst offering employment and skill development opportunities within the community.’
