Singing dustman retires

CAMPBELTOWN’S singing dustman retired last week after 15 years service with the cleansing department in Argyll and Bute.

One of life’s original characters, Charles Farmer, 65, better known as ‘Feenie’, could be heard wherever he went with his singing voice and his ever-smiling face.
