Insurance paperwork

A MAN who failed to prove he had insurance for driving a vehicle has been told to appear at court in a month with his insurance paperwork or ‘face the consequences’.

Nineteen-year-old Michael Charlwood, of Tormhor, Carradale, failed to prove to police he was insured to drive the vehicle on November 18 last year.

Justice of the Peace Margaret MacDowell, on Monday at Campbeltown Sheriff Court, called the situation ‘ridiculous’ and set a trial date.
