Campbeltown’s unique road crossings


School, Zebra, Pelican, Puffin, Toucan and Pegasus are the official pedestrian road crossings in the UK.

In its infinite wisdom Argyll and Bute Council decided to provide unique road markings for Campbeltown.

These peculiar brown road markings with pavement introductions to alert the disabled are more like skittle crossings, but you will be knocked down with more than a ball.
