Youth group recieves Children in Need funding

TARBERT Youth Group is rejoicing in the news it has been awarded £9,700 by Children in Need.

The money will allow the group to provide a drop-in breakfast club and outreach sessions for those under the age of 18 who are living in areas affected by deprivation.

The group, which has previously received more than £26,000 in funding to provide youth services to tackle a range of challenges faced by young people, will use this latest boost to help cover the cost of youth work, equipment and materials for meals and activities, trips and venues to tackle hunger and improve the general well-being of up to 70 participants.
