Fatal collapse after Gay Gordons – PC’s 20-minute fight to save visitor’s life

FOR 20 minutes an off-duty Campbeltown policeman fought to revive a teenage holidaymaker who collapsed during a dance at Southend Village Hall.

While an ambulance and nurse from Campbeltown’s Cottage Hospital raced the 10 miles to the village, Police Constable Duncan Campbell gave the kiss of life to 19-year-old Michael Cole.
