Drop-in event on flood risk protection

CAMPBELTOWN and Kintyre residents are invited to a public drop-in event on flood protection.

Argyll and Bute Council is holding the town hall event, on Thursday October 5, from 8pm, to gather information from the public on their experiences of flooding, and to give information to the public on the project, which aims to reduce the risk of flooding in the area.

Policy lead for roads and amenity services, Councillor Roddy Mc- Cuish, said: ‘We’d like as many people as possible to come along and share their flooding experiences with us. This is aimed at gathering as much information as possible from people who have been affected by flooding.
