Teenager rounds-up a second golf title

TEENAGER Andrew Wallace showed his elders how to hit a small white ball round Mach Dunes.

The 19-year-old took his second Kintyre major title in as many weeks, when he lifted a beautiful cut glass decanter, as the winner, by four shots, of the Machrihanish Dunes Campbeltown Open.

Wallace’s scratch 73- 78, 151 beat more than 40 seniors playing in last weekend’s competition. Wallace, who was a bit over awed to have won another title said: ‘It was a great competition and the course was in unreal condition. The last day was a bit tougher in the wind.’
