Food waste on the menu at SWI


CATHERINE WILSON of Zero Waste Heroes told members of Largieside SWI that the worst form of waste is food.

Catherine spoke at the group’s monthly meeting in Tayinloan village hall recently and said that buying three for the price of two was not a good idea if you threw one away. As food waste goes into landfill it can cause a build-up of methane gas which is not good for the environment.
