Plan to live-stream council meetings loses connection

A PLAN to live-stream Argyll and Bute Council meetings has been kicked into the long grass.

Councillors voted against transmitting the meetings live and instead backed a motion to carry out costings to be put to the council at a future meeting.

The council already has the equipment to stream meetings and currently uses it for video conferencing. According to council IT staff, all that is required is a software licence.
