A CAMPBELTOWN national charity supporting baby units at hospitals round Britain has held its inaugural coffee morning.
Clare Lamont, who herself has eight weeks to go before her first child is born, ran the Bonnie Babies Guide hall event, with friends, on behalf of her parents John and Debby Lamont who set up the charity 17 years ago.
A notice on its website best describes the registered charity’s ethos: ‘Bonnie Babies makes and sends tiny premature clothes, blankets and, sadly, burial outfits to UK special baby care units and also to parents who need support.’
