Classic Car Buyer Magazine No.204 Biggest Show Ever Back Issue

As you’ll see when you turn to page 10 of this issue’s Classic Car Buyer, we’ve pulled out all the production stops this week and burnt a sump full of midnight oil to bring you a four-page report on last weekend’s Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show. To add a slice of personal interest to the feature, we’ve also included a few of our show favourites and explained why we rate these cars in
particular. Looking at the variety of models we’ve chosen as our personal show-stoppers, it’s interesting to see how different our tastes are here at Classic Car Buyer. What’s even more incredible is that there were no overlaps in our choices either, which just goes to show what a
diverse selection of interesting cars there was on show at the NEC this year. Let us know what you think of our choices and if you don’t agree, why not send us a picture of your show favourite?
The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show is a great event and judging by my aching feet, it seems to get bigger and bigger every year. With over 250 car clubs in attendance, it would be safe to say that there was a vehicle for just about everybody at this well attended event, regarded as the
‘Grande Finale’ to the show season. Judging by the number of people who attended this year’s Show, our fascinating hobby is showing no signs of slowing down – in fact, interest in classic vehicles appears to be growing year-on-year, despite all the financial doom and gloom that blights the daily news. One of my main missions over the three days was to get around as many club stands as possible and gather details and photographs for our Club Updates. From my conversations, it would appear that the club scene is in a healthy state and for those clubs I managed to make contact with, thank you for taking time to talk to me – and sorry to those I missed out as I simply ran out of time getting round you all.
