ALESHA DIXON
THE ALESHA SHOW
WARNER
★★★★
She’s been a likeable presence on TV for so long, it’s easy to forget that Alesha Dixon was once pretty good at her pop star day-job, too. This vinyl reissue of her second post-Mis-Teeq solo LP is certainly a reminder of Dixon’s versatility. Whatever style is thrown at her, whether it’s the big band swing of hit The Boy Does Nothing, the 60s-influenced Xenomania production Cinderella Shoe, or Diane Warren ballad Do You Know The Way It Feels, Dixon proves adept at them all. You can’t help wishing that she would give pop another go.'
