Much like Einstürzende Neubauten in Berlin, Test Dept unleashed their righteous fury in the early 80s by using scrap metal and objets trouvés.
The London group’s ire was always more overtly political, expressing solidarity with the Polish shipyard movement on Gdansk and later collaborating with the South Wales Striking Miners Choir.
